This half hour script faithfully tells the original Washington Irving story through dialogue and sound effects. It has strong character development and humor. The story is told from the perspective of two school girls from the village. There are music cues and sound effects cues, and roles for eight or more voice actors.
This radio script was produced live in Kalamazoo Michigan in 2011 by All Ears Theatre, and later broadcast on the NPR-affiliated radio station WMUK. The script was also performed at the Cincinnati Old Time Radio and Nostalgia Convention in 2012. All rights to the script remain with
